Clubhouse is a new type of social product based on voice. It allows people everywhere to talk, tell stories, develop ideas, deepen friendships, and meet interesting new people around the world.

Our early users love the product and we have been featured in publications like The New York Times, Forbes, The Telegraph, TechCrunch, The Information, CNBC, and WIRED — as well as a huge range of thoughtful blog posts. We are well funded, with recent backing from top-tier VCs and many of the best angel investors in Silicon Valley.

The Role

As a Community & Growth Operations Manager, you’ll tackle a variety of high priority projects, working with cross functional teams to serve our diverse, growing communities, both locally and abroad.  You’ll work closely with leaders across our community, international, marketing, and operations teams to understand our user and team needs, then design and execute on potential solutions with a high degree of autonomy. You’ll engage with practically every team in our small (but growing) organization to deliver on day-to-day needs and drive projects to completion. There are no slow days at Clubhouse and you will be challenged to think strategically, tactically, and to act swiftly to support our communities & teams.  During the pandemic, we are working remotely. This role will be open to both local and US-based, remote candidates. We will have an office in San Francisco when we are able to safely reopen our office for those who prefer to work in person.

You’re a strong verbal and written communicator; you can capture the essence of complex situations fast and communicate with sensitivity to a variety of people.

You are comfortable building from scratch, creating structure amidst ambiguity, and leveraging experience while adapting to new situations.

You are strong at execution and have a bias towards action. You can identify and add structure to ambiguous problems, create plans, and execute against them. You favor practical choices, speed and a respect for sequencing. You focus on the things that matter and push back on things that don’t. You make deadlines for yourself and you move fast.

What you will do 

Clubhouse has millions of users, many burgeoning creators, and a network of diverse, interconnected communities growing fast! In this role, you will work with cross functional partners to understand local and international user needs, diagnose problems, analyze feedback and data, generate ideas, solutions, programs, communicate effectively, and execute upon solutions you design.

Your work will vary and evolve over time and will cover multiple disciplines. On a given day, you may coordinate interviews with community leaders on multiple continents, lead a discussion to help Clubhouse decide which new features the community needs the most, create resources to educate Clubhouse “mods,” and brief company leaders!
