About the Role

What’s the big idea? Are you the Swiss Army knife of copywriting? As Brand Copywriter at Nextbite you’ll be collaborating to come up with big ideas and help bring them to life through a myriad of channels. It’s never a dull moment as our in-house Brand Creative team develops the branding and marketing for Nextbite and our continuously growing portfolio of “virtual” restaurants, B2B targeted advertising and sales materials, as well as internal communication and presentations. If variety is the spice of life, then this position is chock-full of flavor.

The impact you will have:

  • Writing copy for use in a variety of media in all its forms from traditional, to digital, to social, to website content, to direct-to-consumer emails, to whatever it takes in a dynamic environment.
  • Rapid content creation for social media posting across multiple channels for multiple brands.
  • Collaborating with the creative team and departmental stakeholders in developing compelling, memorable, engaging, on-strategy messaging.
  • Developing and maintaining the voice and tone over a variety of brand personalities.
  • Thinking strategically to generate “big ideas” and complete campaigns.
  • Actively participating in internal strategic meetings, creative meetings, brainstorming sessions and “internal client” presentations.
  • Edit and proofread work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs.
  • Drive brand consistency across all company communications.
  • Stay current on cultural and social trends within the editorial sphere.

What you bring to the role:

  • The ability to generate strategically creative and creatively strategic ideation.
  • Social Media Native – you need to be familiar with the current platforms (Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook) and the different communication approaches each requires for successful audience engagement.
  • Proven ability to present work clearly and persuasively, articulating the creative vision and how it achieves strategic objectives.
  • 5+ years agency/in-house/freelance experience, conceiving and producing complete campaigns.
  • A love for the written word and writing skills to communicate clearly and powerfully.
  • An awareness of design principles and how copy integrates into the layout.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit that is energetic, positive, and resourceful.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • An awesome portfolio.
  • A great, positive attitude—which is essential in a remote work environment.
