Overview

InVision is the digital product design platform used to make the world’s best customer experiences. We provide design tools and educational resources for teams to navigate every stage of the product design process, from ideation to development. Today, more than 5 million people use InVision to create a repeatable and streamlined design workflow; rapidly design and prototype products before writing code, and collaborate across their entire organization. That includes 100% of the Fortune 100, and organizations like Airbnb, Amazon, HBO, Netflix, Slack, Starbucks and Uber, who are now able to design better products, faster.

Our team is in search of an Accounting Manager to help us change the way digital products are designed.

About the Team:

We are a diverse team with a mix of industry, operational, and Big Four experience. Our team is made of entrepreneurial-minded professionals, driven in a fast-paced start-up environment, each working hard to build out a best in class Finance department. We partner with leaders across the business to build scalable solutions that support the growth of the organization, while ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all financial results.

What you’ll do:

  • Play a key role in the month-end close process, both preparing and reviewing reconciliations, and related reporting and disclosure requirements.
  • Build scalable process for managing intercompany accounting, consolidations, Fx and other areas related to our international structure.
  • Coach and mentor your teammates to support their growth / professional development and identify the mix and level of talent required to support current and future objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our external auditors and key business contacts including Revenue Accounting, FP&A, Sales, IT and Legal.
  • Partner with the Finance Systems team on system enhancements and process automation for the financial statement close process.
  • Assist with preparing month-end accounting close package and variance explanations for Management, C-level, and Audit Committee materials.
  • This is a very “hands on” accounting role with interaction with different departments (accounting operations, legal, and FP&A) and a high level of visibility within the organization.

What you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years of accounting experience, ideally with experience at both public companies and Big 4 accounting firms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent. CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience leading operational accounting at a public company.
  • A desire to work in a fast pace, high growth environment where all the answers aren’t readily available. We are looking for a creative and confident self-starter who is a team player, but also comfortable working autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required.
  • A systems mindset and, ideally, experience with NetSuite.
